A deaf dancer won a standing ovation for his musical talents.

In The Greatest Dancer, a deaf man dazzles everyone. He got a standing ovation. Chris Fonseca, 28, has always loved dancing, but many questioned if he had what it required to pursue his dream.

Chris’ hearing ability was gone at the age of 23 months due to meningitis. This extraordinary young man, however, is able to dance by feeling vibrations and weak noises by using his hearing aid. After a warm welcome from his younger brother, Chris took the stage as The Greatest Dancer.

This show follows dancers of all ages and genres as they compete for cash and the chance to go on Strictly Come Dancing. The dancer is initially hidden behind a wall. As the auditions begin, the audience is given the opportunity to vote on them. If the dancer receives more than 75% approval from the audience, the mirrored wall opens and the dancer progresses to the next round. Chris performed a daring hip-hop dance to Drake’s “God’s Plan.”

The mirror appeared shortly after he began his act, and this incredible dancer received a standing ovation. The performance affected Judge Matthew Morrison, who added, “I dance personally because the music motivates me.” And, as far as I could tell, you were exceptionally musical for someone who couldn’t hear music. “You composed your own melody.” What a wonderful opportunity for this talented dancer, and I can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next.
