For most, appearing on ‘America’s Got Talent is about more than just the talent and success that will hopefully follow. It is also about showing your most vulnerable side with courage and confidence.
And when a 13-year-old girl takes the stage, the strength required is even more impressive. Breez Carver, the 13-year-old girl, in this case, is about to express her deepest feelings through dance.
Breez informed the judges that she is adopted and that as a result, she was very shy when she was younger. Her mother suggested that she try dancing to overcome her shyness.
And, by chance, Breez took the advice and encouragement and began dancing. As they say, the rest is history. She is now ready to show the world her talent which gave her the courage to face life.
She chose to dance to a song about her firsthand experience with child abandonment and finding unconditional love later in life. Kelly Clarkson performs the song ‘Piece by Piece.’
Her energy shifted from the first move on. From an insecure teen who spoke to the judges came a self-aware, confident young lady who moved through the stage with the grace of a ballerina.
Her genuine performance, combined with her impressive technical abilities, won the judges’ approval. As a result, she received four yeses and will wow everyone in the next round of auditions.
