Because the teen’s voice sounds uncannily similar to Elvis’, all of the judges favor him.

It’s no surprise that Elvis Presley’s music continues to be imitated as one of the greatest musicians of all time. While many of the impersonations fall far short of Elvis’ greatness, every now and then a performance sends shivers down the spines of everyone in the audience.

As reported by Stories Of The Moment, this was the case recently when 13-year-old Yaroslav Karpuk performed the classic Elvis song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” on the reality television competition The Voice Kids Ukraine.

The deep and sultry voice was so similar to Elvis’ that the audience was immediately captivated by the performance. Within 15 seconds of the performance, one judge spun around in his chair, indicating that the performer should advance to the next round of the competition.

When the first judge passes him over, the singer’s family is clearly overjoyed. As the performance progresses, more judges join in. In fact, all three remaining judges press their buttons and spin around at the same time.

Once it is official that he is on to the next round of the competition, the contestant gets to choose which judge will mentor him through the process. Not surprisingly, this young man selects the judge that first spun his chair to be his guide.
