Best Friends for the Elderly Surprising Balancing Act Surprises America’s Got Talent Judges

The judges on America’s Got Talent couldn’t figure out what talent two elderly best friends, Edson and Leon, would demonstrate for their audition. However, the two men put on a show with their surprise balancing act, which stunned both the judges and the audience.

These two men first met almost fourteen years ago. Because these two Brazilians shared a passion for performing, they decided to pool their resources and collaborate.

Now, 84-year-old Leon and 54-year-old Edson are demonstrating that age should not be a barrier to pursuing one’s dreams. This duo took the stage wearing business suits, so no one knew what their actions would be. Following a brief introduction, the men moved to the center of the stage and the music began.

Everyone seemed a little nervous until Leon and Edson removed their coats and began a jaw-dropping balancing routine. Edson serves as the base while Leon is effortlessly lifted into the air. Both of these men are considered elderly, but nothing in this routine supports this assertion. This is a prime example of why age is merely a number. When the music stopped, the entire audience rose to their feet in applause.

Not only does an act like this require a significant amount of time and practice, but it is also physically demanding. Simon Cowell was all praise for the entertaining duo. “This was unexpected. We made this show specifically to find people like you. This was without a doubt one of my favorite acts.”

The pair receives four ‘yes’ votes from the judges and advances to the next round of the competition. You’re on your way, guys!
