Curtis Moore’s life is being transformed by his X-factor audition.

The X Factor auditions are a stressful experience, and who wouldn’t want to get hyped up before going? However, Simon Cowell may find this 16-year-old singer a little too intense.

Curtis Moore, 16, from Birmingham, UK, put his entire life’s hope in the X Factor auditions. He is hoping that this will help him turn his life around.

Curtis turned to petty crime after his brother died and ended up in prison. Curtis explained his life story, “I was kind of grieving.”

While he was all focused and to the point, he didn’t expect the judges to want to get to know him better, so he raised his voice in annoyance. “Sorry for bothering you,” Simon Cowell said, as Curtis continued, “alright, let me sing, let me sing now.”

The judges were still flustered and let him sing Mario’s “Let Me Love You.” Curtis’ snide remarks prompted Simon Cowell’s response: “Curtis, you and I are going to have a little conversation, and it’s called attitude.”

Cowell admitted that he liked Curtis and his swagger, but that he needs to start listening to what people say and accept criticism for what it is. Curtis added that he has this problem and is working on it.

Curtis Moore received all four yeses despite the attitude check. This brings him one step closer to realizing his dream of reinventing himself.
