On Tuesday night’s America’s Got Talent auditions, the Olympic tryouts World Taekwondo Demonstration Team delivered a jaw-dropping performance.
The World Tae Kwan Do Demonstration Team so impressed host Terry Crews that he hit the Golden Buzzer for them and sent them straight to the live shows.
“I’ve never seen anything like that before!” As broken boards from their performance flew in all directions, the crews commented.
Members of the World Tae Kwan Do demonstration team come from all over the world, including South Korea and the United States.
They had been invited to perform at the Olympics but were unable to do so due to the pandemic.
Instead, they chose to appear on America’s Got Talent to demonstrate their abilities.
“It was insane,” said judge Heidi Klum. “The power, the strength. I’m getting goosebumps. This was incredible.”
“I have never seen anything like this in my life,” Howie Mandel said. The amount of discipline required. You have a message. Amazing.”
The team made an even bigger impression when they raised a banner that read, “Peace is more precious than triumph.”
“I know what it takes to be able to achieve this,” Sofia Vergara said, standing up and shouting at various points. Perfection.”
“I think what you did was one of the most extraordinary things I have seen in all the years I have been on America’s Got Talent,” Simon Cowell said. Now we must go to the polls.”
But, before they could vote, Terry cut Simon off and said, “No, we don’t.” First and foremost, I must state that I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. This is not about fighting, World Tae Kwan Do.”
“It’s a matter of bravery, confidence, and respect.” I admire what you did here today more than anyone else. You were unable to compete in the Olympics and win a gold medal, but I will give you something golden right now.”
Then he activated the Golden Buzzer for them. What a brave performance by World Taekwondo Demonstration on America’s Got Talent.
