Age is sometimes just a number. It is not a measure of someone’s abilities or skills. However, as we get older, we mentally assume that more and more things are beyond our capabilities. People are always quick to use the “broken hip” pun for seniors when it comes to activities that require a lot of movement, such as dancing.
However, one woman’s incredible dancing abilities will leave young onlookers speechless. Vera Rodriguez is 92 years old, but she is not slowing down! In fact, Vera appears to be having difficulty finding a partner who can keep up with her. “No one can dance,” the mambo legend lamented.
“Nobody!” Vera, her nails hot pink, said she was going to the club to “show them something” about how to dance! There is only one but: Vera is a character created by Mikko Kempe, not a 92-year-old mambo legend. Vera Rowe, a nine-time champion in salsa, bachata, and hustle, is the dancer.
