On Canada’s Got Talent, 50 healthcare workers perform ‘Fight Song.’

The judges of ‘Canada’s Got Talent’ welcomed an unusual choir to their stage. This choir was formed online and practiced virtually. It is made up of over 50 healthcare workers who found solace and encouragement in music and in one another.

These women were on the front lines seven days a week, working 18-hour days. Throughout the early stages of the pandemic, they were separated from friends and family. They decided to form a chorus and connect online.

One of the healthcare workers tells judge Howie Mandel that the message they want to send to others is to take care of themselves. She continues, “Music is medicine for our souls, and this is our prescription for everyone.”
