From the moment they were born, one of the world’s most unusual twins shared all of their adventures together.
On New Year’s Eve, the twin sisters celebrated their centennial.
To accomplish this, they traveled to Cornwall, the city where they had spent the majority of their lives.
The girls grew up in Kent with their three siblings before moving to Cornwall 52 years ago.
They are presently living in Truro, about a mile from Budapest.
“We have many fond recollections.” I don’t think we’d want to change anything about our lives.
Only the last World War was truly horrific.” – one of the sisters says.
Both sisters married and later divorced.
Betty acquired a pedagogical background before taking up beekeeping.
She has two children, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Jenny worked as a secretary, then became interested in painting.
“We do everything together now,” the centenarian twins say with a smile.
On the anniversary, the sisters who survived the reign of five sovereigns received congratulations from Queen Elizabeth.
According to them, their commitment to the Christian faith helps them in choosing their life path.
“There is only a way up or down, so forgive others and keep clean for yourself,”
