When a mother brings her infant to work, this is how the boss reacts.

Maintaining your job obligations while raising a child is, without a doubt, the most difficult stage of a parent’s life.

And it’s even more difficult when you know no one will be home to care for the baby while you’re at work.

Working mothers typically face more challenges than others because they must care for their children while also working.

Melody Jett Blackwell of Tennessee, on the other hand, is an extremely fortunate mother! We are fortunate to have a job that allows mothers to bring their babies to work with them.

Melody’s boss had the opportunity to photograph her while she was working with her newborn child by her side one day.

Melody Jett Blackwell of Tennessee, on the other hand, is one lucky mother! We are fortunate to work in an environment that allows women to bring their newborns to work with them.

Melody’s boss was able to photograph her at work while she was holding her new baby one day.

Aside from the nice message, Melody’s boss also wrote a quick Facebook post to accompany her photo with the baby. Here you have it:

Melody told Love What Matters about how her manager treated her well from the beginning of her pregnancy.

«When I gave birth, my boss was extremely gracious and gave me three months of maternity leave.» She then allowed me to work from home the majority of the week and come into the office only once a week. She allows me to bring my child in with me so that we can bond and nurse.

Such compassionate and inspiring workplace examples are obviously a rare occurrence.

It’s no surprise that Melody was moved by this generous gesture, which she will never forget.

This working mom’s post and adorable photo moved many people on social media. On Facebook alone, the post currently has around 2.5K likes and 1.3K shares.

The incredible thing is that Melody only discovered this after her photo went viral on social media. Melody dreams of the day when every employer in the world treats working mothers with such ease.

«I understand that not every office or work environment is appropriate for children and newborns, but I believe that many places can be more flexible than they are now,» Melody tells Love What Matters.

It is without a doubt one of the most difficult aspects of raising a child when both parents must work to fulfill their responsibilities.

Employers around the world could be more flexible with working mothers, not only making them feel better emotionally, but also saving money on things like babysitters.

«It significantly reduces childcare costs.» I hope that in the future, more parents will be able to spend every day with their child while also contributing to the family income, as I do.
